Tashi Phuntsho

Network Engineer and Trainer

Tashi has been working in the Internet industry since 2004, and currently works as an Evangelist Optician for FLEXOPTIX (APAC Lead).

He comes with hands-on experience across Telecommunications and IP networks, having worked as a Transmission Engineer, IP Network Engineer and Head of IP Networks for Bhutan Telecom. Tashi was involved in many first times in Bhutan’s Internet history.

With his knowledge of "how not to do things", Tashi also assists with NSRC workshops as Network Engineer/Trainer, especially at NOGs and other Direct Engineering Assistance engagements in the APAC region.

Tashi volunteers as a program committee member for APRICOT, South Asia NOG, Mongolia NOG (founding member), India NOG, Nepal NOG and Bhutan NOG (founding member).
