Network Design and Operations Workshop
The Internet Education and Research Laboratory (intERLab)/AIT and the Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC) of the University of Oregon will organize a six-day hands-on Network Design and Operations Workshop from 10-15t May 2010 at intERLab Training Center, Asian Institute of Technology in Pathumthani, Thailand.
The program emphasizes the importance of the campus network as the foundation in developing robust, high performance National Research and Education Networks (NRENs). The hands-on course addresses design methodologies, including fiber systems, switching architectures, routing, and network management. Core and border network designs will be highlighted to help participants complete the picture from structured internal network architectures to effective interconnection methodologies for NRENs and other external networks.
