Track 2: Network Monitoring and Management

Goal of the workshop
Acquire concrete, hands-on experience with the most common tools and protocols to manage and monitor a network. Understand principles of network management (baseline, change management, service monitoring, availability, capacity planning), develop the right skills and learn best practices. - Duration: 5 days
- Requirements
- Some Linux or UNIX command line experience.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and layer 3 Network basics (IP).
- Required Equipment
- Participants MUST bring their own ethernet or wifi-capable laptops with an OS (Windows, Linux/UNIX or MacOS ...) capable of running an SSH client and a web browser.
