AFNOG Advanced Routing - BGP, IPv4, IPv6 - Workshop Program

Goals

This workshop is part of the AfNOG 2014 and AIS14 workshops, tutorials, meeting and conference and is designed for network engineers at ISPs and other large Internet networks who are involved with building or operating a wide area service provider network or Internet Exchange point, with international and/or multi provider connectivity. Labs constitute about 50% of the course.

Pre-requisites

Successful completion of a previous AfNOG Scalable Infrastructure (SI) Workshop or similar training. Alternatively, participants must demonstrate acceptable knowledge of or their experience with a router configuration language. Experience of interior routing protocols such as OSPF or ISIS is also necessary, and participants must have used BGP. Some user level Unix experience would be advantageous. Participants must bring a laptop with wireless connectivity.
