Cyberinfrastrucure and Water Resources in the Lower Mekong Region

This Workshop in the Network-enabled Collaboration series on “Climate Change Impact on Water Resources in the Lower Mekong Region” will bring together scientists in water-related research and their network support staff from the Lower Mekong region (including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam) and scientists and network experts from United States. This workshop has two tracks: a science track, and a networking track.

Workshop Goals

  • To raise awareness among scientists and researchers in the Lower Mekong Region of the opportunities available for enhancing the region's ability to respond to the impacts of climate change by exploiting network-enabled collaboration opportunities;
  • For U.S. and Lower Mekong researchers to establish and strengthen research relationships resulting in increased scientific collaboration;
  • To provide training in network skills and techniques to the network staff of the institutions of the scientists to enhance opportunities for network-enabled collaboration.
