AfTLD: Advanced Registry Operations Course

Description

In conjunction with the Network Startup Resource Center (​NSRC), the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (​ICANN) and the Africa Top Level Domain Organization (​AfTLD) a course on Advanced Registry Operations will be offered in conjunction with the 2016 Africa Internet Summit meeting and workshops (​AIS) from May 30 through June 5 in Gaborone, Botswana. More information will be available shortly.

Requirements

• A laptop with wireless capability.
• IPv4 addressing and general network concepts.
• Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux.

If you need assistance gaining this knowledge please be sure to attend the ​Unix and Networking Introduction session on Sunday, May 29th in the afternoon at the workshop venue.

Required Software in Class

• PuTTY SSH client for Windows Putty
• Linux, UNIX (Mac OS) already have SSH installed.
