The ccTLDs identified for this phase are: Angola, Benin, Burundi, Comoros, Congo Brazzaville, The Gambia, Madagascar, Niger, Togo and Zimbabwe. Building onto an initial business and marketing track, the 4-day technical track consists of presentations, practical exercises and group activities, through which participants will learn about the Domain Name System (DNS) ecosystem and registry management. The training will be followed by a learning visit to the Kenya Network Information Centre ([KENIC](https://kenic.or.ke/)) and the Africa Data Centre ([ADC](https://www.africadatacentres.com/)). A majority of the participants in this track are entry to mid-level technical personnel within their registries. ### Participants in this track will learn about: ### * The DNS ecosystem and registry architecture * Get a refresher on UNIX commands * Forward zone and reverse zone configuration and delegation * DNS operations, debugging and troubleshooting * DNS software * An overview of DNS security and resilience * Components of Registry system and software ### Requirements and prerequisites ### * Participants should be involved in day-to-day technical operations within their registries * Participants are required to bring laptops that are wifi-capable
