mcohort: Equip. Advice

This is a bit off-topic, but at least tangentially
related.

We're looking at upgrading some network equipment here
at NPS from ATM to gigabit ethernet. It's a Foundry/Cisco
switch shootout right now. 

Is anybody running Foundry gear, and if so:

1) How's it work with multicast;
2) Other general impressions.
