6* Commands preceded with "$" imply that you should execute the command as

9* Commands with more specific command lines (e.g. "rtr>" or "mysql>")

23If you are using Windows and do not have an SSH client installed you can download a copy of the
24free Putty SSH program here:

28Right click and save the putty.exe file to your Desktop, or some other location where you save
29software. Once saved, double-clic on the putty icon. To connect to your PC enter in the name
30of the PC in the "Host Name (or IP address)" box in putty:

34Next you will receive a security alert from putty that the server's host key is not already cached
35on your machine. Click on "Yes" to accept the key.

37        When prompted with "Login as" enter "sysadm"
38        When asked for a password use the password given in class.

40That should be it. You are now connected to a terminal session on your machine. To log out you
