Tashi Phuntsho

Network Engineer and Trainer
Tashi comes with experience across Telecommunications and IP networks, having worked as a Transmission Engineer and an IP Network Engineer since the early 2000s for Bhutan Telecom.
With his knowledge of "how not to do things", Tashi has been involved in capacity development in the Asia-Pacific region by providing training and technical assistance in a number of technical areas.
Tashi has assisted with NSRC workshops as co-instructor, especially at NOGs (btNOG, SANOG). And, was a local host for SANOG23 held in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Based in Brisbane, Tashi currently works as the Technology Solutions Lead for a disability care and child protection organisation, while continuing to volunteer as a program committee member for APRICOT, SANOG, mnNOG (founding member) and btNOG (founding member) during his spare time.
His current areas of interest include Enterprise Architecture, IPv6 Deployment, Network Programmability and Network Automation, and Securing Internet Routing.
