Huter; LiwalNet is the only and first Email and Online Internet Services Provider in Afghanistan established in Spring 1998, since then provide connectivity in the following two forms, presently and planning to expand the services. 1-Online Email and Internet via Satellite Phones all over Afghanistan. The Telecommunication Infrastruction in Afghanistan is badly effected by 20 years long war, Internationl Gateways and National links are out of order. Governemnt, Bussiness and NGO use Satellite Phones for their day to day communication, costing US$2-4/minute. To save cost for the Satellite Phone users, who are mainly NGOs Liwal Group Ltd, as solution provider, started LiwalNet, providing Conectivity from any Part of Afghanistan, via Sattelie Phone. 2-Offline Email Conectivity in Kabul and Jalalabad. Recently the Telecommunication Services are improved in Kabul and Jalalabad City and LiwalNet is in process of provding Offline Email Services in these cities, which will be later Expanded to Online Internet. > Could you please provide a brief technical description of your system ? At Asiasoft, the Software Development Division, we have UNIX and Windows NT experts, who enabled Windows 95, 98 and NT to process Pashto and Dari the National Languages of Afghanistan. > And, pricing/cost info for your service, if possible, please ?
