I have edited-out the unneccessary details. --- cut here --- Subject: Correction for Argentina From: horacio%satlink.net@hustle.rahul.net (Horacio Stolovitzky) Date: Sun, 14 Nov 93 09:30:43 ARG Organization: SatLink Uucp/Internet Gateway [ARGENTINA] +54-1-958-1041 Status: ORr Dear Olivier: I wish to give you info about Argentina connectivity: There are only two principal links between Argentina and the Internet: 1- atina.ar is the top level domain for Argentina and this connection is only for educational and research purposes. The administrator is postmaster@atina.ar 2- satlink.net is a private service with over 200 sub-domains and domains around the country and was designed for commercial and individuals that wish to have an UUCP node. We are bringing DNS service too (domain forward service). I'm the administrator and my address is info@satlink.net All other nodes in Argentina are connected to atina.ar (this is the case of dcfcen.edu.ar) or connected to satlink.net (this is the case of heinz.com, cenep.satlink.net, etc...). atina.ar has a leased line over TCP/IP connected directly to USA. satlink.net has an UUCP connection directly to USA. --- cut here --- -- Olivier M.J.
