"It is by far the best source of information on Cuba available. A good example is the international reaction to the Torricelli Bill... there was little coverage of the reaction across the world. Most people in the U.S.A. had no idea of what was happening and were probably surprised by the world's rejection of this policy at the U.N. But not the readers of PeaceNet's reg.cuba conference... It is a real service." - Miren Uriarte College of Public and Community Services University of Massachusetts at Boston "The Cuba conference is indispensable for getting the most up to date info from Cuba (radio Havana), lobbying info, right wing activity, and doing networking. Keep up the good work." - Frank Scofi U.S. Hands Off Cuba Committee - New Jersey "Given the paucity of information on Cuba available, and the taint of the little I do manage to find in mainstream media, this conference is utterly, absolutely vital." - Jim Smith Freelance Journalist Toronto, Canada "The U.S. blockade affects information out of Cuba and about Cuba in a number of ways: from making it impossible for us to pay for clipping services and other feedback, to keeping what we have to say out of the U.S. media. This conference is a real blockade- buster, and it flows freely among us, as it should. Plus one extra advantage for Radio Havana: it's a great way to hear from our listeners!"
