There is an operational 9600b/s leased line from Algiers to Italy; the line goes from cerist.dz domain (Algerian research center in information technologies) to cnuce.cnr.it (italian research) We are waiting for The X75 connection that will link the Algerian X25 DZpac to the X25 french Transpac; this link will be availabe in the near future according to the Algerian Administration PTT. I am negotiating a 64kbit/s leased line to Amsterdam with PTT because whe have many requests that can be , today, only satisfied by dialup lines while waiting the X25 PTT Network.
