The rest of the information, on upstream providers and ISPs, still holds. It's also worth mentioning that there are some indicators (sorted by year in addition to the most recent monthly data) published & updated on monthly basis at the Ministry's following website: http://www.mcit.gov.eg/publication.asp .. Since the last report nothing really happened except that the Broadband model is currently under study in a trial to increase the ADSL penetration and to introduce WiMAX in Egypt.. The academic networks in Egypt are basically connected via either the Egyptian Universities Network - EUN, http://www.eun.eg/ , or the Egyptian National Scientific & Technical Information Network - ENSTINET, http://www.sti.sci.eg/ .. For information on EUN, you can contact either Eng. Dina Barakat, dina@mailer.eun.eg or Eng. Hadia El-Miniawi, hadia_m@mailer.eun.eg .. N.B.: All EUN contact information is also available at: http://www.eun.eg/docs-n/e-staff.php & http://www.eun.eg/docs-n/e-contact.php At ENSTINET, you can contact Eng. Nezar Sami, nns@sti.sci.eg .. Hope this helps.
