We have plans to expand the local user base but our problem is funding for modems. A number of instutions have been identified who have computers and telephones lines and who can benefit from the network. However, for some reason which is related to 'IT-phobia' (I think) it hasn't been easy getting people to invest in modems, if only for trials. The system has been in use for one year now. and at the moment we have 14 points on line. The user base is quite varied interms of type of work they do Joe
