EasyLink An EasyLink account gives you easy access to the worldwide internet and its many services. Each EasyLink customer is registered as a user and receives an account on CIS's login machine (known on the Internet as login.ieunet.ie). You are issued with a personal username and password to login to the system. While connected to your EasyLink account you can access the world wide internet by using the network applications available on the machine. You can also store your email messages, programs etc. on your allocation of disk space. For corporate customers, an EasyLink account provides a fast inexpensive way for individuals from the company, to become familiar with the services available on the internet prior to corporate registration for the individual internet services, or installing a leased line to CIS. EasyLink accounts can give members of your company access to the Internet with the benefits of electronic mail, etc., without the need for your company to be connected directly to the internet. CIS manages all the administration of the accounts, electronic mail, network news, ftp etc. Graduates from third level educational institutions who have enjoyed the benefits of the computer facilities provided, or indivdual computer enthusiasts will find an EasyLink account the easy way to keep in touch with the international computing community. Up to 5MB disk space is charged at 1 EasyUnit per month. There is an additional cost for the use of the FaxLink service EasyLink accounts are payable in advance. A minumum of 5 EasyUnits must be bought at a time ( IR 15.00). Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card (Visa or Access) or direct debit. Invoicing in only available on amounts above IR 45. 5. FaxLink CIS offers a versatile Fax Link service which allows users to SEND Faxes via E-Mail or to RECEIVE an E-Mail by Fax. The second option allows users who do not have a computer to participate (as an observer) in Internet activities. IEP 100 Registration charge. The information should be updated infrequently and more frequent updates are charged an additional fee. One(1) update per month via electronic delivery mechanism is allowed. Additional updates are charged at Ir 10 per update. CIS can also convert your information into the format for immediate access via the World Wide Web. This is charged at IR 35 per hour required. Special arrangements can be made to produce statistical reports on accesses to this information.
