You will probably already be aware that thru' KCI-NET's initiatives, plans are at advanced stage to have all the 8 provincial hospitals on-line, the MoH_HQ being just the starting point. Beyond that, discussions are also on- going to have a number of the district hospitals following suit too. Obviously it is not going to be an easy task, but I believe it cannot be harder than the way we have come! Some of you may also be aware of an impending 2-day national networking workshop being co-ordinated by the National Council for Science & Technology (NCST) and supported by RINAF, KCI, ARCC, etc, that intends to bring together representatives from all major public academic and research institutes, PTT and relevant policy making institutions to map out a common front for advancing email technology in the country.
