Have been busy in your work after return from Hawaii? I am happy to receive message from you, but SORRY for delaying the reply to you -- now, I am rather busy in my work. Well, at the moment, I am currently using Fido technology network which is stored and forward system, my network system is the local host in Phnom Penh, Cambodia which provided E-Mail service to some NGOs working in Cambodia now I have 45 users -- I have 3 times per day [6:30 am, 12:30 pm, 19:30 pm] connection to Australia (Pactok Network Hub in Sydney), so all of outgoing and incoming mail messages of every user (45 NGOs) were sent and received via my system (Phnom Penh Host). There are three categories of membership of CCCNet, the current annual rates for membership are: International Organizations or UN NGO: $ 755 Foreign NGOs. associate members of the CCC, and others $ 555 Local NGOs: $ 355. There is no extra charge of these. In Phnom Penh, as I know there were about three of E-Mail service providers: 1st my network called CCCNet, 2nd Toolnet in PADEK NGO they have connection to Amsterdam, Netherlands , 3rd UniLink which is a commercial private company they have more than one connection, to Hong Kong, UK, Singapore Thailand and others, but the charge to hookup was more expensive than the others, because they are commercial private company. Next year, my network system will be migrated from a Fido technology network to a TCP/IP network by dial-up links between the network hub and the subnet hosts. As I know, SPRINT US company have promised (in June/July, 95) to provide a free Internet connection to Cambodia, but now they can't provide the services, because PTT Cambodia have no satelite for them -- the PTT Cambodia are talking with Telstra (Australian telephone company) to let SPRINT use Telstra satelite for a free Internet links to Cambodia, and so far I have heard from Mr. Koy Kim Sea, under-secretary of state of PTT said that however it will be possible to have an Internet connection to Cambodia. I think that all I want to say, but if you need any more info. just ask me will help you asap I can.
