From: Pavel Gusev <pasha@relcom.kz> To: sghuter@nsrc.org Date: Mon, 23 Dec 1996 10:50:02 +0600 Dear Steve, Below is an information about RelcomSL Co. and their networks: The network, maintained by RelcomSL Co., consist from the following parts: a) Primary regional POP in Semipalatinsk, directly connected to the Internet via Sankt-Petersburg, with 19.2 kbps TCP/IP b) Regional POP in Ust-Kamenogorsk has 28.8 kbps connectinvity c) 15 POPs in all raion level centers of Semipalatinsk oblast with 19.2-28.8 kbps We also maintain primary domain name service for the KZ top level domain. We plan to upgrade main link to the Internet with 64 kbps digital satellite channel. Server platform Intel x86, access servers Cisco 2511, modems Motorola Codex. The cost for dialup users is 4$/hour, and for leased line 24 hour users is 200$/month. Currently we have the full business plan of network development and looking for 3 year loan.
