As a company, we are seeking to form a joint venture with the government to maintain and operate e-mail from within Myanmar. The system itself is purely a store-and-forward e-mail service, with the gateway service in England. Gateway calls occur every hour or better to providing a reasonably fast turn-around on messages. The system is running Linux on an Intel Clone, using U.S. Robotics (my favourite) Courier V.Anything Modems. Because the system operates via IDD calls, usage is charged by the kilobyte, with our rates being determined by the Telco charges at any given time. Shaun Hurley Eagle Computing Development
