Enkhbat -- I just wanted to let you know that I just sent you two files, that will make our dialup UUCP connection far more efficient: fxuucico.zip: This is a complete replacement for 'uucico'. It provides faster data throughput, by supporting larger packet sizes in the 'g' protocol. You should install it according to the instructions included, and set the packet size to 1024 or 2048. ruux18.zip: A complete replacement for WAFFLE 'uux'. WAFFLE 'uux' has a series of bugs which can cause the loss of e-mail. This program is a complete replacement for WAFFLE 'uux'. Let me know if you need any help unpacking or installing these. I also wanted to let you know that during November, our telephone bill is completely free, due to a benefit in our contract with our long-distance carrier (Sprint). So, November will be a good time to experiment more with the connection. Steve
