The major ISPs are PINet, NITEL, Linkserve, Hyperia, Microcom, Infoweb, Nigeria Online. >What is the current status of Internet connectivity in the capital, in >secondary cities, and rural areas ? Almost all the ISPs are still based in Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria. There plans for Points of Presence in secondary cities but they are yet to be fully implemented. >Is there steady growth or are there factors that you can point to, >which may be seen as impeding further development ? There are potentials for growth. But the potential is being stunted by Government policies which vested the right for International connectivity solely in the Government owned PTT. Best regards, Lanre Ajayi
