We have 4Mbps in and 2Mbps out of the country. We connect to Hong Kong Telecoms via Cable and Wireless (Seychelles). >2) Are there other ISPs with external connectivity other than Atlas Seychelles? Yes. There is one other ISP: -name: kokonet -current bw: 1Mbps in and 512Kps out -Provider: Interpacket >3)What do you see as the prospects for Internet growth in Seychelles; what would >help it, and what are currently the major obstacles? I think there is still a lot more scope for growth. The major obstacles I see are things such as high costs involved in getting Bandwidth. Also we need to get technical personal who are properly qualified or trained. Once of the other major obstacles is difficulty in getting foreign currency which makes it very diffcult to purchase equipment etc. B.Rgds --------------------- Muditha Gunatilake Atlas Seychelles Ltd Phone:+248 304060 Fax :+248 324565 email: muditha@seychelles.net mbh3gpa@afs.mcc.ac.uk muditha@technologist.com
