From: Khursheed Ahmed To: Steven Huter CC: randy@psg.com, Gezira University , Karen Banks Date: Wed, 15 May 1996 11:42:16 -0400 (EDT) Dear Steve: I have received several messages from Sudan this morning which has restored my confidence in the service. The phone lines in Sudan are so bad that we are not sure of how well the system will work within Sudan. However, the polling from GreenNet in London is going well. At present the e-mail is strictly for academic use at Gezira University. However, we are planning to extend it to other universities, hospitals and NGO's in Sudan. So, please make sure this experimental node at Gezira does not get inundated with "Me Too!" messages. I am posting it more to identify serious partners who are interested in working with us for improving communications, health and education in Sudan. They need a lot of help. You can use me as the point of contact outside of Sudan, as I would like to work on a well-coordinated plan. Thanks for your interest and help. > Also, could you please complete the following with the node information for > our database of contacts: > > Date: April 30, 1996 > Organization: University of Gezira > Address: P.O.
