Well, not much has changed in .sz; except that a new telco, Spirit, is in the works and should be starting operations within .sz in 2 years or less. They are focusing on providing traditional voice services, cellular voice services as well as Internet services. There are plans to deploy data services over wireless last mile solutions, which will be a first for .sz as the ILEC still controls licensing of wireless frequencies. Plans to introduce a regulator for the industry are still ongoing; .sz could really use this in order to stimulate competition through the allocation of licenses to provide other last mile solutions including wireless, ADSL, FTTH, FTTC, e.t.c.
