NZNOG SDN / Openflow Installation Tutorial

This tutorial is a hands on look into Software Defined Networking and the Openflow framework in particular. It will give participants the opportunity to build their own Openflow controlled data path and experiment with the possibilities that this allows.
Workshop Goals
- Present SDN and Openflow concepts to participants
- Allow participants to build, configure and gain experience with an Openflow controlled data path
Requirements
- Linux/UNIX | Networking
- Knowledge of Python or a similar programming language will be an advantage
Recommended Software
- PuTTY for Windows (SSH)
