Oregon Tribal Broadband Bootcamp
Aug 8-11, 2022: University of Oregon, Eugene, Oregon

The UO hosted the third Tribal Broadband Bootcamp for engineers and technicians representing native tribes in the Pacific Northwest. Hosts included Chief Jason Younker, NSRC, Link Oregon and the Internet Society. News coverage included KVAL, KGW, OPB and the University's own Around the O.

PACNOG37 Annual Meeting
Aug 8-12, 2022: Suva, Fiji

The Pacific Network Operators Group met at the Pacific-Japan ICT Centre. NSRC Engineer and Trainer Philip Smith co-taught a Routing Infrastructure and Security Operations Workshop with Edwin Sandys from the University of the South Pacific.

SANOG37 Network Monitoring and Management 2.0 Tutorial
July 12-13, 2021: Sri Lanka

NSRC Assistant Director Hervey Allen presented a tutorial covering core network monitoring and management concepts including newer more scaleable tools and techniques and what is meant by “observing” vs. monitoring. 100 participants were introduced to Prometheus, Grafana, Elastiflow and Kibana.
